Kirsty is one of the most dedicated and thoughtful personal trainers I have come across. She adopts a holistic approach to her training, listens to her clients and adapts her exercises to meet the needs of the day, whatever they may be! Don't be fooled , however, into thinking that she is a pushover...only this morning she was desperately identifying "abs" exercises to inflict more pain, in fact I heard her mutter "I want pain!" I do have a secret weapon to help those clients if they need it: tie her shoe laces together, but whatever you do, don't accept her offer of the banana costume! Seriously, in the two and a half years that I have worked with Kirsty I have laughed, cried and seen my fitness levels go from strength to strength and long may it continue!

Kirsty has been a personal trainer for myself and my 16 year old daughter for the past few months and has been absolutely fantastic in her enthusiasm, her support and encouragement. As a 48 year old who has never held a gym membership before it was quite a giant step to take into the world of exercise but Kirsty has helped to make the transition from coach potato to gym junkie (not quite yet) very smooth....

Kirsty helped five unfit ladies of a certain age become much fitter by putting us through heart-pumping aqua-aerobics moves. This was after she played the sergeant major with us - making us do press- ups as a warm up. What a star!

Lots of fun, not to mention the odd sore muscle. We hope to be able to repeat the exercise again in the autumn (are we mad?)

Before training with Kirsty my exercise routine was boring and monotonous. Since Kirsty became my personal trainer my whole outlook to exercising has changed. She makes every session fun and interesting working really hard to come up with innovative and effective new exercises. I can certainly see and feel the results!

Personal Training with Kirsty has definitely been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life! In total I have lost 20kg, massively toned up and also built some muscle and I am so grateful to her for helping me achieve everything I set out to do. The use of food diaries has been enormously helpful for me – having somebody regularly monitor my eating habits and helping me to change them is brilliant. Overall, it has been - and still is – a wicked cool journey and one that I am loving every minute of. Each session is different from the last, action packed with various exercises and most importantly FUN – which sometimes (depending on the specific exercise!) can make the hard work feel that little bit easier :-) I have now entered to do my first triathlon and Kirsty is totally fantastic with helping me train for it - she is simply the best and without her I can quite happily say I would not be where I am today! Over the past 4 months, Kirsty has recently helped both myself and my husband achieve what we hadn’t achieved by going to the gym alone in 5 years. Kirsty was able to look at our eating and exercise profile and encouraged us to make small changes. We really enjoyed the one to one sessions with Kirsty which were supported by a personalised exercise program. We provided Kirsty with food diaries each week and over time, with small changes, our overall health and weight has improved.

Kirsty has great people skills and she made us feel that we could make changes and showed us how we could incorporate exercise and a healthy diet into our lives for the long term, not just when you need to lose a few pounds!

Training with Kirsty is like a rollercoaster queue, just when you think you're nearly there (and surely on your final set of an exercise!!)... she asks you for "just 10 more" and always encourages you to push yourself that little bit more!

Kirsty. I may know her but she is the consummate professional and treats me like any client with respect and kindness whilst just asking for that little bit more. The thing about Kirsty is she gets to know you as an individual and accepts that everyone is not the same i.e. I am not an endurance runner but I am good at sprinting/intervals so we focus on what I enjoy. I have an old neck injury (I fractured 3 vertebrae about 20 years ago in a riding accident) and she won’t let me do anything that compromises that injury. I love running but hate the gym as I get bored; my goal is to lose weight and tone up. Kirsty has designed a program to help me achieve that i.e. geared more to running but incorporating some of my favourite equipment in her personal gym (and not so favourite but she assures me they are a necessity!). She also provides you with information and advice to train when you are not with her and when she asks you to do something she always explains why. I would recommend Kirsty to anyone from the uber competitive person who wants to be pushed to their limit and to people like me i.e. want a down to earth approach that achieves results.
